Dr. Nurit Omer is a neurologist and movement disorders specialist at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Israel. She serves as Deputy Director of the Neurology Department and leads the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease clinic, as well as clinics for Huntington’s disease and other genetic neurodegenerative disorders. Her clinical and research work focuses on prion diseases, genetic neurodegeneration, movement disorders, biomarkers, and the integration of advanced genetic and molecular diagnostics into patient care.

Dr. Omer is actively involved in clinical research and in supporting patients and families affected by CJD and other inherited neurological diseases. She is committed to improving access to accurate information, expert clinical care, and international collaboration for patients and families facing prion disease.
